According to Bill Feng, the Sales Manager of Bitzer, the company’s brand new ELV scroll compressor is specially designed for new energy buses. Powered by alternating current, the compressor can be applied on electric buses. Moreover, it is light in weight. The smallest version is only ten kilograms. In addition, Bitzer compressors are equipped with internal (external) inverters and can be powered by either alternating current or direct current. With all these uniquely attractive features, ELV scroll compressors have won wide public recognition since its debut.

Feng also reveals that “inheriting all high quality standards of all mechanical products made by German enterprises, ELV scroll compressors have already finished their reliability test in the lab. Next, together with our partners, we will continue to optimize the overall performance of our products and improve their design. We are now aiming to release some new products to meet market needs in earlier 2016.” The exhibition booth of Bitzer looks like a space cabin, which fully demonstrates the company’s innovative spirit and its focus on making more breakthroughs in the future.

Since its entry into China in 1994, Bitzer products have been widely seen in bus air conditioning systems, rail air conditioning systems, refrigerating machines, container refrigerating systems, etc. Currently, Bitzer accounts for 80% of China’s large and medium bus air conditioning compressor market. With a wide spectrum of highly reliable products, Bitzer can be seen on all buses measuring 8 meters to 18 meters in length. It can be safely said that every ten buses with air conditioning systems, eight of them are equipped with Bitzer compressors.
