339,960 and 351,752 Units Diesel Engines Were Produced and Sold in Apr.

www.chinabuses.org: In Apr., China produced 1,885,238 units auto engines and sold 1,1887,568 units. From Jan. to Apr., the country's production and sales volume of auto engines reached 7,216,305 and 7,264,625 units respectively, up by 8.03% and 9.46% year on year. Due to the lackluster growth of the market in Apr., the growth rate of both production and sales volume went down dramatically.
In auto diesel engine sector, the country produced 339,960 units and sold 351,752 units. From Jan. to Apr., the production and sales volume of auto diesel engines totaled 1,409,171 and 1,384,729 units respectively, up by 7.93% and 8.44% year on year. The data indicated the auto diesel engine sector grew steadily in Apr. with both demand and supply on a balanced rise. In the first four months this year, the domestic diesel engine market experienced some downward movement and the sector was adjusting itself in the right direction, indicating some braking effects on the growing trend of the whole commercial vehicle market.
