Changzhou Diesel Engine Bags Orders of 8,000 Single-Cylinder Diesel Engines

www.chinabuses.org: On Apr. 29, 2014, Changchai Co., Ltd. reveals that its fist product-single cylinder diesel engines have successfully won market recognition and received orders with combined demand of 8,000 units in the first quarter this year.
At China Import & Export Fair, also known as Canton Fair, recently held in Guangzhou, customers from India spoke highly of Changchai's new engine products. After a careful comparison of all engines products from China, Changchai's engines boast the lowest emission and the best performance.
Four years ago, Changchai was assigned to lead one of the key projects of National 863 Technology Innovation Plan, namely the research and development of single-cylinder diesel engines. Aiming at saving energy and cutting emissions, the new generation engine products have elevated the fuel economy to a new high level and have further driven down the emission standard.
Gradually reaching maturity and gaining market recognition, the new engines have sold 50,000 units to date, realizing a sales income of 150 million RMB and total profits of 20 RMB.
