Qingdao Tire Enterprises Go to Latin America for Emerging Markets at the End of July

From July 24th to 27th, 2013 Latin American & Panama Tire Expo will be held. And Qingdao enterprise representatives led by CCPIT Qingdao (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Qingdao sub-council) will go to Panama and endeavor to exploit this emerging market.
As the representative of excellent emerging exhibitions, Latin Amercian & Panama Tire Expo was held in 2012 for the first time, which already attracted Bridgestone (including Bridgestone and Firestone), Michelin, Giti, Triangle, and Zhongce such famous enterprises and evoked a worldwide response within the industry. Exhibited products cover tire, hub, tire retreading, maintenance tools, repair materials, parts, tire manufacturing technology and design, tire accessories and peripheral products of tire equipments.
What’s more, Latin America and the Carribean are an emerging and Latin-speaking market with lots of countries. Simultaneously, it is a new trade place for Chinese exhibitors. The total number of countries in this area is 28, consisting of the South America (10), Central America (6) and Carribean (12). The population is about 430 million.
Tire market in Latin America and the Carribean takes up 8% of the whole world, of which sales increases 30% in the recent 10 years. Such kind of increase is expected to continue in a long time. Since 2010, Brazil, one of these countries in this area, has become the fourth automobile manufacturing country taking over Germany. However, in 2009, 80 million tires were in this market including OE as well as after-sale market. At present, the cars per person is 147, which shows a big demanding for retreaded tires only lower to the U.S.A. All of these things mentioned above attracted tire enterprises all over the world. Therefore, Qingdao enterprises will go to Panama and exploit this new emerging market at the end of this July.
