Ecotec Engines Debut

News from Shanghai General Motors Company said it started producing GM Ecotec engines at its Dongyue plant in eastern China's Shandong province. Henry Wong, GM China's spokesman, told English.chinabuses.com’s journalist."Going forward, we'll have more new products with these two engines," Wong also said, although he did not reveal which other models will be fitted with the engines.
General Motors Corp., the world's largest automaker, has been the global industry sales leader for 76 years. Founded in 1908, GM today employs about 280,000 people around the world. GM has eight joint ventures and two wholly owned foreign enterprises as well as more than 20,000 employees in China. GM, along with its joint ventures, offers the broadest lineup of vehicles and brands among automakers in China.
