Recently, National Development and Reform Commission approved the 8th batch of “National Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection Project” of 2008 that included Yuchai’s remanufacture project. It means that Yuchai was granted the 10 million Yuan support from the central government. The engine remanufacture project, following the gaining of the qualification for the 1st batch of experimental enterprise for auto parts remanufacture in March this year,  was strongly supported by the centre government.

The decision makers of the company share a strong sense of implementing the core value of “Green development and win-win in harmony”, increasing the engine remanufacture and growing the “Yuchai remanufacture project”. Currently, the company is doubling its efforts on the cooperative R & D of the remanufacture sector. The 3rd engine plant and remanufacture project department actively engaged themselves into the project. They paid close attention to State policies and has successfully obtained support from the government. They elaborated and enacted “implementation program for the engine remanufacture experiment”, and carry out the remanufacture technique application and testing to enhance the recycle rate of spare parts. Upon reception of the fund of “National Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection Projects”, Yuchai remanufacture project will have a rapid development.   

According to report, a total of 90 projects were approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. Among them two were applied by Guangxi. The other successful applicant of Guangxi is a steel smelt company that received 3.50 million Yuan for its project.
