www.chinabuses.org: On October 21, the seventh China International Eco-city Forum & Expo kicked off in Tianjin. As the first international exhibition themed with the construction of eco-cities, the event has attracted wide media and public attention. Zhongtong Bus Co., Ltd. Xiang Fengjun, president of Qingdao Zhenqing Bus reveals that bus operator boasts 1,030 units buses and 937 units environmentally friendly green vehicles. In August 2015, the company officially launched its intelligent bus project. With the development of the project, it becomes an intelligent platform for promoting urban development and providing transportation services for urban citizens.

Zhou Yuxin, Director of Zhongtong Engineering Department Technological & Engineering Section, reveals that Zhongtong buses in Qingdao boast high environmental friendliness, strong power, and a variety of travel comforts for passengers. Equipped with co-axial parallel connection mode hybrid system, the vehicle has engine and motor driving systems available. Its operation can be independently powered by its engine, motor or the two combined. Its AMT and CAN help the vehicle realize optimized performance and achieve the highest energy efficiency.

In building the intelligent bus project, Zhongtong has been lending generous supports to Qingdao Zhenqing Bus, carrying out long-distance maintenance work, repair work, video training, etc. The project has made urban travel more convenient, comfortable and highly environmentally friendly for citizens in Qingdao. It is also going to set as a good example for the construction of ecological civilization in China’s urban areas.
