In response to the changing passenger transportation market conditions, King Long has done effective work in upgrading its bus products in terms of their overall design, specific details, human-machine interaction, vehicle body protection and vehicle safety standards. On September 12 this year, King Long officially released its “Urban Light” series new bus products, which are expected to become a new force in upgrading urban public transportation. Covering a wide range of bus products measuring from 6 to 18 meters in length, including BRT buses, coaches, medium-sized coaches, mini-circulation buses, “Urban Light” series buses have traditional, clean, hybrid and electric power driveline available. Also all vehicles are equipped with ECO-Chip 2.0, realizing smarter vehicle management and distance vehicle monitoring.

Currently, XMQ6850 and XMQ6106 are the two chief models highly recommended by the bus maker. With electric driveline, the two vehicles can be fully recharged in two hours if put on the slow-recharging mode and just in ten minutes if put on the fast-recharging mode. In addition, their intelligent cooling systems, solely developed by King Long, can effectively cut energy consumption. Its double independent power sources ensure the smooth operation of the vehicles, fully realizing zero-emission standards. Passengers’ safety is further guaranteed by encasing high-voltage battery components in special compartment.
