As one of the pioneers in exploring the overseas market, Golden Dragon has already established a formidable presence abroad. In 2015 against the continued global economic doldrums, the bus maker still maintained a fast growing momentum. Earlier this year, Golden Dragon reached a new historical height in its overseas expansion and it held a grand celebration to mark the delivery of its 50,000th unit bus to its overseas market, Israel.

“Golden Dragon started cooperation with Auto Chen in 2011. After conducting a series of market researches and product researches, holding trial operations for its sample vehicles as well as making new improvements in its products, we have managed to gain a strong foothold in Israel. More importantly, Golden Dragon also became China’s first bus maker exporting Euro VI buses. Apart from our success in securing more orders, our buses have won rising popularity among passengers and the general public in Israel,” says Peng Qingdong. Golden Dragon’s success in Israel mainly lies in its quick response to meet the market demands. By making constant efforts in adding more technological elements into its products to suit Israeli customers, it has successfully earned the trust of local customers. “Currently, Golden Dragon buses have surpassed 500 units in Israel. Our business witnessed explosive growth in the past two years in particular and we inked some major deals with Valley Project and Dan Company” adds Mr. Peng Qingdong.

According to Golden Dragon, the seven vehicle models revealed at the press conference cover some major public transportation sectors, including high-end tourist transportation, inter-city passenger transportation, and urban public transportation. Each vehicle model is a result of Golden Dragon’s comprehensive researches after giving due considerations to the operation, road and weather conditions in Israel. Each represents the bus maker’s highest manufacturing capacity and its latest technological advances. One of the biggest highlights is the Golden Dragon’s rich knowledge in providing new energy transportation solutions, including building new energy buses, constructing required facilities, selecting vehicle models, arranging vehicles and mileage planning, etc.
