Golden Dragon and Netherland’s Ebusco Secure a Deal in Paris

www.chinabuses.org: In March, Spring is in the air in the world’s city of romance, Paris. New breakthroughs about Golden Dragon’s expansion in the overseas market also grabbed the media’s attention from the metropolis. Golden Dragon, together with Netherland-based Ebusco secured a deal from France-based Transdev. After winning the Best Eco Bus Award at Busworld Exhibition in 2015, Golden Dragon’s new energy bus, China’s first electric aluminum bus successfully made its way to Holland. Currently, the second batch of electric aluminum buses is getting ready to embark on their journey to Norway.
Netherland’s Ebusco Signs the cooperative agreement with France’s Transdev
According to Ebusco and Transdev, the two parties signed an agreement for 10 units electric buses. Willem Alexander, the king of Netherland, and his wife, Máxima, who were visiting France, also attended significant moment for the two parties’ cooperation. After taking a ride of the electric bus, the couple were quite impressed by the performance of the new energy bus. Soon, the ten aluminum electric buses will be put into official operation on the public transport routes in Paris.

Ebusco 2.1, the electric aluminum bus, is jointly developed by Golden Dragon and Ebusco. With a more rigid body structure, the vehicle boasts much higher safety standards. It successfully loses its weight by 0.2-0.5 tons after using aluminum alloy materials, which can be easily recycled for many times with a recycling rate of over 95%. Moreover, the bus is able to load more passengers. Plus its automatic and intelligent recharging system and energy recycling mechanism, Ebusco 2.1 has pushed the environmental friendliness of electric buses to a new historical level.
In October, 2015 when European Coach & Bus Week was held in Belgium, Ebusco 2.1 attracted much media attention after winning the Ecology Label 2015.

While making leaps and bounds in the overseas market, Golden Dragon has also been enjoying a fast growing momentum in China in recent years. In October, 2014, a total number of 200 units 10.5-meter plug-in hybrid buses were delivered to customers in Nanning, Sanya, and Tianjin. Golden Dragon’s 12-meter electric buses also made their way to Taiwan. In August, 2014, the bus maker secured a deal of 1,639 units city buses with its customers in the Middle East with a total value of over one billion RMB. In 2015, Golden Dragon’s accumulated export volume passed 50,000 units.

In May 2015, Golden Dragon officially launched a new campaign on new energy buses, aiming at improving its comprehensive service chain which integrates new energy vehicle technologies and marketing. By calling for more green travels among the general public, Golden Dragon is fully committed to pushing forward the environmentally friendly public transportation in China.
