One-step aboard at both front and back door enable passengers get on and off the new bus much easier and safer than three-step entrance. Measuring 11.5 in length, the Sunlong new energy buses are more spacious than traditional 10-meter city buses and new buses are equipped with 24 seats, six more than the traditional ones.

Each vehicle is equipped with 8 safety hammers and a fire extinguisher in the front and back.   With the induction system installed in the front and back doors, the vehicle can not start without fully closing the doors.

The electric power system, core of the whole vehicle, starts operation when the vehicle is running at low speed. And when the vehicle runs at a speed of more than 30 kilometers per hour it automatically switch to natural gas drive. According to estimates, this new energy bus saves  30% energy compared to ordinary one.
