600 New Energy City Buses to Start Operation in Dalian

www.chinabuses.org: In early August, 337 BYD pure electric buses are put into operation in Dalian, Liaoning Province. With the promotion of the construction of charging facilities, there are expected to be 600 units pure electric buses put into operation in Dalian in the near future.
According to reports, the Dalian public transport group has completed construction of 186 sets of charging ports for electric buses out of 367 sets in total, mainly built in the group's terminal stations, of which the rest 145 sets are expected to be completed by the end of this month.
Dalian public transport group plans to purchase 660 units of buses this year, of which 600 untis are pure electric new energy buses and the other 60 units are LNG clean energy buses. By pure electric and LNG buses will account for 40% of the total number of operating vehicles in the group.
