Sunlong LNG Buses to Support Green Transportation in Chongqing

www.chinabuses.org: Recently, 17 units of Sunlong SLK6872 have been delivered to Chongqing Mingtu Vehicle Leasing Company. The batch of Sunlong LNG new energy buses will soon be put into operation for group tourism, marking a significant step for Chongqing in promoting energy-saving and emission-reduction in public transportation.
Featuring eco-friendly, cost efficient and performance stable, Sunlong LNG buses are significantly improving air quality by cutting CO emission by 97%, hydrocarbon by 72% and PM2.5 emission by 90% compared with diesel-powered vehicles. At meanwhile, compared with diesel-powered vehicles, Sunlong LNG buses save operation cost and about 30% fuel cost.
To date, Chongqing has been operation 660 units of gas-electric hybrid buses and 31 units of electric buses, and CNG city buses and taxis have taken over 95% of new energy buses in operation in urban area. The batch of Sunlong LNG buses delivered this time will shoulder the responsibility of green transportation in Chongqing, dedicated in energy-saving and emission-reduce.
