Zhongtong V Series Electric Buses Pocket Three Major Prizes

www.chinabuses.org: On May 11 to 13, Zhongtong V series electric buses made their debut at Beijing International Exhibition on Road Transport Buses, Trucks & Components. Arousing immediate public attention, the three types of electric buses successfully won the hearts of judges and pocketed three major prizes at the exhibition.

Zhongtong V6
At the awarding ceremony which was held on the evening of May 11, Zhongtong V6 bus won the Best New Energy Bus prize, V11 received the honorary title for the Best Environmentally Friendly Prize, and V12 claimed the Best New Energy City Bus prize. Thus, the three Zhongtong vehicles have become the biggest winners at this year’s exhibition.
Zhongtong V11
Zhongtong V6 business-oriented bus, is also known as LCK6670EVG. As a mini electric bus targeted at the urban mini public transportation, high-end group tourists transportation and short-distance tourists transportation, the vehicle is lighter in weight compared with its counterparts and thus is able to cut energy consumption significantly. Moreover, it achieves much higher performance/price ratio when compared with traditional buses. Thanks to this, it is expected to generate more profits for its operators.
Zhongtong V12
Zhongtong V11, also known as LCK6118EV, is a large coach for group tourist transportation. It can be used at scenic spots or by governmental organizations, large corporations. With a maximum speed of 90 km/h, the coach is able to reach a speed of 50 km/h from a standstill in less than 15 seconds. Apart from being able to run uphill with a gradient above 20%, it can also make a standstill or startup on a slope.
Zhongtong V12 double-source fast recharging electric bus, also known as LCK6123GEV, is chiefly for medium and large cities with well developed public transport power networks. It can be recharged while in operation on the road, so there is no need to build recharging stations. Now, it has made a visible presence in Jinan, providing smooth and green public transport services for the local citizens.
According to the latest statistics, Zhongtong hybrid buses took the second position in China’s hybrid bus market in the past two years. The release of Zhongtong V series electric buses is ushering a new era for the bus maker to continue its leading position in China’s green bus market.
