Zhongtong Welcomes its Overseas Deal of 134 Luxury Coaches from Thailand

www.chinabuses.org: After working around the clock for many days and despite the cutthroat competition with dozens of well-known bus makers, Zhongtong finally saw its hard work being paid off and the company successfully won a deal from Thailand for exporting 134 units of luxury coaches.
In preparing for the bid, the high-level officials from the bus maker have been in close watch for every progress made along the way and have been constantly making constructive suggestions for securing the deal. In the initial bidding stage, the overseas sales team from Zhongtong made a fully detailed explanation of the company’s state-of-art production techniques and quality control measures. Such meticulous care to every slightest detail finally won the company extra credits. At the final bidding stage, officials from Zhongtong made a field visit to Thailand to get familiar with the local market.
In the end, the company earned 1164 points in the bidding, way above the other three bus makers, which won 543, 271 and 178 points respectively. On Jan. 30 this year, Zhongtong signed a sales contract with the bus maker in Thailand for exporting 134 units LCK6125H buses to the popular tourist destination just south to China. It is expected that the buses will be delivered to its customer in the earlier half of this year. Fully confident in the reliability of Zhongtong buses, ABC company, the bus operator from Thailand has expressed its hope to strengthen its cooperative ties with Zhongtong and help the company expand its market presence in the country.
The impressive performance of Zhongtong in the overseas market in recent years can be chiefly attributed to the company’s new development strategies. In 2003, the bus maker set up its Export Dept. Two years later, it further strengthened its efforts to internationalization. Under the new development guidelines, the company has been lending even more supports in its overseas markets, making sure its products from R&D, to production and then to market development and to after-sales services can meet the local specific demands. Zhongtong is now fully confident that it will play an increasingly more significant role in the international bus markets in the near future.
