Ankai Joins Hands with Kunming for New Energy Bus

www.chinabuses.org: On the afternoon of Oct. 8, Kunming Municipal Government and Anhui-based JAC Automobile Group signed an agreement on Strategic Cooperative Framework for Manufacturing New Energy Buses in Kunming. According to the agreement, Kunming Bus Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is going to be set up with an annual production volume of over 3,000 units of green buses.
At the grand ceremony to mark the event, Li Wenrong, the under-secretary of Kunming CPC Committee and Mayor of the provincial capital city, points out the cooperation represents further deepened friendly ties between the two parties. The move made by JAC also demonstrates the auto-maker's strategic insight into the local market. According to the mayor, the cooperation will further boost the development of the industry in Kunming, especial its auto-making industry. Moreover, the establishment of a new bus company in the province will provide business opportunities for related businesses and help the city to further optimize its industrial structure.
