Foton to Serve at APEC Conference in November

www.chinabuses.org: On Sept. 24, a grand ceremony was held at the headquarter of Foton to mark the delivery of the officially designated Foton coach fleet for the APEC Leaders’Conference Week. A total number of 450 units Foton vehicles, including 400 units MP S series and AUV coaches recently delivered, are expected to serve at various venues during the APEC Leader’s Conference Week, which is going to be held in the coming November.
APEC consists ministerial meeting, high-level official conference and leaders’ conference. As the host city this year, Beijing is in charging of the organizing work. As one of the most high-profile international meetings, it put the capital city’s urban management level and capability to hold such a high-level meeting to a severe test. After attending the third APEC high-level official conference just concluded in Aug., one participant spoke highly of the hospitality of the host city and its considerate arrangements from accommodation to transportation. As the officially designated vehicle for a number of APEC meetings, Foton is chiefly responsible for providing transportation services for the third high-level official meeting and the leaders’ conference week. Winning praises from all participants well demonstrates Foton’s competitiveness and strength in commercial vehicle manufacturing industry.
