www.chinabuses.org: On Sept. 18, 57 units of Sunlong LNG buses bought by Zhangzhou Long-distance Transport Group Co., Ltd. went off production line. According to the bus maker, the batch of new buses will soon start operation in Zhangzhou city.

Comprised of three bus models, including Sunlong 6895, 6909 and 6119, the batch of Sunlong buses bought by Zhangzhou are all environmentally friendly and they will be put into operation within the urban area and the inter-county bus routes. Featuring high eco-friendliness, high fuel economy and high stability, Sunlong buses are surely to contribute significantly to improving urban air quality. Compared with other LNG buses, every Sunlong bus can cut carbon monoxide by 97% and hydrocarbon by 72%. In addition, a Sunlong bus produces 90%-plus less of PM2.5 emissions in comparison with a diesel powered vehicle. By replacing current diesel powered buses, Sunlong LNG buses are able to cut the fuel costs by about 30%, remarkably helping their operators reduce operating costs.
