Changlong Bus Joins Hands with Shentong

www.chinabuses.org: On Sept. 12, Changlong Bus signed an agreement for cooperation with Shentong Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shenhua Group, a key enterprise owned by the central government. Based on the agreement, the two companies are making joint efforts to build a strategic alliance for manufacturing new energy vehicles with the strongest production capacity and the longest chain. Zhang Wenjiang, President of Shentong Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd., Zhou Tiegen, Secretary of CPC Jiangyin Committee, Shen Jian, Mayor of Jiangyin attended to signing ceremony.
Shentong first invited bids nationwide, Changlong together with other four domestic bus makers finally won the bids. In the future, Shentong will purchase Changlong buses with favorable conditions. Also according to their cooperative agreement, the two parties will carry out a series of cooperation in terms of strategic development of electric buses, R&D of new products, production of electric buses, market expansion, investment & financing, and capital management.
