www.chinabuses.org: On 18th June our reporter paid the first visit to the whole-body cathodic electrophoresis production line in Zhongtong’s new factory. The production line will soon come into service to give Zhongtong an edge in the market by improving its technology as well as quality.

With a full understanding of the market, Zhongtong had decided to introduce the whole-body electrophoresis into its new factory two years ago. After adequate preparations and executions, the new factory went into operation by the end of 2013. Meanwhile, the electrophoresis production line also made a significant progress. At present its construction and commissioning is finished and ready for the operation. 

With a scientific design to ensure the technique level and working efficiency of the electrophoresis, the production line perfected every step of the whole manufacturing procedure. According to sources, the cathodic electrophoresis could greatly prolong the working life of bus body with its strong anticorrosion features. It could also tremendously improve the efficiency by automatizing the manufacture as well as shortening the working hours because of its densely but evenly distributed coating. The whole production line will be wholly automatic, and it means that the cost will be drastically reduced with a high working efficiency once mass production realized.
