Higer Takes Advantage of "Cloud" Technologies

www.chinabuses.org: Recently, the bus maker Higer initiated its "Cloud Strategy", which, based on moderrn mobile information technology, aims to integrate bus makers, bus operators and passengers.
Cloud Design
With their WIFI services, Higer E series are nicknamed cloud buses. In addition, it cannot be ignored that the buses are developed by a virtual R&D system, which gives full play of the company's eight major departments (Bus Technology Dept., Purchasing Dept., Manufacturing Dept., Assembly Dept., Quality Control Dept., Sales Dept., After-sales Dept. and Financial Dept.) and its suppliers of key spare parts. The cross-department and cross-companydata exchange and sharing give birth to Higer E series buses and last throughout their life cycle.
Cloud Management
Higer could management is an extension of its G-BOS system and provides detailed information about vehicles and bus drivers. According to the company, it will soon roll out cloud managment solutions for inter-city bus operators and urban bus operators, which will significantly help them enter the era of cloud management.
Cloud System
Higer cloud system, revealed by an official named Ji Yongping from the bus maker, "is a platform and information portal jointly developed by Higer and China's largest transport network service platform provider Zhongjiao Huineng". With the system, the information of 40 billion passengers each year will be easily stored and retrieved. Given this, the system has successfully attracted such internet giants as Alibaba and Tecent.
