2nd Higer Cup Bus Driving Skill Competition Draws to a Successful End

www.chinabuses.org: On Jun. 11, the second Higer Cup Bus Driving Skill Competition kicked off in Ningbo. 54 bus drivers from 18 public transport companies competed in the event.
Opening Ceremony
Compared with the previous competition, this year has seen the addition of a series of new competing programs, including manderin services, passenger services, special driving skills, and emergent firefighting, etc. Considering the number of competing programs, bus drivers are expected to show the mastery of their bus driving skills.
Bus Shotting
Under the theme of "Green Low-carbon Urban Travel", this year's event also puts unprecedented emphasis on civilized driving and safe driving, which aims at further boosting the service level of the city's public transport. Lu Jianmin, the vice Chairman of Ningbo Public Transport Association points out that the energy-saving and low-carbon urban travel is an inevitable trend in the near future. Higer buses have been making significant contributions to the green travel solutions in the city.
