Solaris Urbino Buses Awarded in Germany

www.chinabuses.org: Solaris buses have been recognized by the readers of the industry magazines lastauto omnibus, trans aktuell and FERNFAHRER as "Commercial vehicles 2014" in the category of midi buses - import. Special voting, organized by the editorial offices together with the expert organization DEKRA, is held every year since 1997.
Solaris Urbino 8,6, Urbino 8,9 LE and Urbino 10 competed with nearly 180 other vehicles. Buses of the Polish manufacturer ranked first in the category of midi buses – import with almost 8,000 votes cast in the voting.
"The award proves that all the efforts on the demanding German market were successful. For us it is an additional motivation to still get better and better" - said Ma?gorzata Olszewska, CEO of Solaris Deutschland GmbH, at the award handover.
Solaris is present on the German market since 2000. Over the last 14 years it has delivered almost 2,500 low-floor buses with the green dachshund label to more than 200 cities. For many years now the company ranks third in the German city bus segment reaching 10 percent market shares.
