Foton AUV to Play a Bigger Role in New Energy Bus Market

www.chinabuses.org: According to sources, the total number of Foton AUV new energy buses stands at 502 units in 2014 at the base of China New Energy Vehicle Industry Association. Along with its strengthened efforts in R&D of green vehicles, the company is seeking a brand new operation mode realizing new energy public transport integration.
Foton started R&D and production of new energy vehicles ten years ago. Its new energy public transport integration works well in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban circle. It is expected that even greater social and economic returns will be made if such a mode is applied in Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban circle.
Since early this year, Foton AUV BJ6123 electric buses has been working smoothly in Heilongjiang. Also, China's first batch of plug-in distance-enhancing hybrid buses made by Foton have been put in operation in Changsha for three months. In addition, Qingdao city has purchased 50 Foton AUV BJ6123 electric buses. In Feb. this year, 20 Foton AUV BJ6123 electric buses started working in Tianjin. In Mar., Cangzhou city in Hebei placed orders for several batches of BJ6105/6123 plug-in distance-enhancing hybrid buses, which have completed their assembly in the company's workshop.
