Among the 118 vehicles debuting at the show, 79 are powered by new energy. Electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles and hybrid vehicles are the three main eye-catchers. 

Competing with other globally renowned auto makers, four Changan light-weight buses made a high-profile debut at this year’s show. Changan Ruixing electric urban logistic light bus, in particular, immediately becomes the new trend-setter for green light buses thanks to its unique design, eco-friendliness, high safety and reliability, and high fuel economy. 

According to the bus maker, operating costs are the main concern for bus operators. To meet its customers’ needs, Changan Ruixing electric bus has cut the operating costs per 100 km to 15 RMB from 60 RMB. Such a green vehicle can help operators save over 20,000 RMB each year. What’s more, the vehicle measures 4805mm in length, 1715mm in width and 1980mm in height, providing the most spacious interior space for its operators.

Eyeing the huge market potential, an increasing number of market players have entered the light bus market. Still, Changan manages to bring its bus products to a new height and further push the growth of the field.
