Changan New M201 Appears

www.chinabuses.org: Recently a series of Changan M201 pictures appeared on the internet, which may replace Changan Star.
Different from the previous R101 entering low-end MPV market, this new M201 would continue its standard mini bus model, which might replace Changan Star when in volume production. M series stands for its design of mid-engine among all Changan vehicle models. Its engine is located below the front seat.
Appearance of M201 is more fashionable than Changan Star, which adopts silver grid and chroming decorations. The length of M201 is almost 4 meters, which is longer than Changan Star. And the extended width also makes storage easy. The shortened height improves stability of the vehicle in high speed.
In addition, this new M201 is equipped with new 1.2L engine. Maximum power output increases to 98HP to meet this bigger size.
This new M201 would be manufactured in Changan Base in Hebei. And middle or high-end mini bus, like Changan Honor, would be into production in Chongqing Manufacturing Base of Changan.
