Public Bus Increases 16.56% Year on Year in Oct.

Increase in market segment is the highest, and export decreases year on year
Based on data, public transportation is a market segment of the highest increase within all bus markets, followed by school bus market and travel bus market. Seat bus market of the largest market share began to decrease over 10% in these recent years. Thus, increase of public transportation market becomes the mainstay of the development of large-medium bus market during the first ten months in 2013.
Public bus increases the most among all bus markets in the first ten months
As for public transportation market in the first ten months, monthly increases in the first four months show the change from high to low level. Monthly increases from the latter six months since May begin to be of high-to-low increasing trend. However, total growth basically shows the increase rule of public transportation market in the first ten months.
As for sales data of large bus (10m＜x≤12m) manufactured by mainstream bus manufacturers in these ten months, their increases, which are King Long, Golden Dragon, Higer, Yutong and Zhongtong, are all above the total average increase. It means that public bus motivates increase of large bus of major bus manufacturers.
Experts said that seat bus began to decrease influenced by high-speed rail which would keep contract. It means that large public bus decides the market performance of large bus market in the ten months. Owing to high-speed rail, increase of coach and policy of public bus priority, such influence would last.
Nevertheless, export data of public buses of the industry and major manufacturers shows 4.01% decrease. There’s no denying that decrease of export market contains the strong increase of public bus market in the first ten months of 2013.
