www.chinabuses.org: On the morning of Nov.25th of 2013, King Long King Wings Contest Driver of Motored Vehicle Vocational Skill Competition final started in Beijing, sponsored jointly by Ministry of Transportation, Department of Human Resources Social Security and All-China Federation of Trade Unions, co-sponsored by King Long and undertaken by Science Institute of Ministry of Transportation and China Road Transportation Association. And in this competition, mature telematics system—King Long King Wings System was introduced as technical support platform.

2013 King Long King Wings Contest National Final Starts in Beijing

Leaders of Ministry of Transportation, Science Institute, Beijing Road Transportation Bureau and King Long were present at this opening. Referee and competitors of final did the vow, followed by leaders of competition committee announcing the official opening of King Long King Wings Contest. This contest set security and energy conservation as its theme. 50 driver talents from 26 different places around China would compete with each other for the honor of Champion of Security and Energy Conservation from Nov. 25th to 26th.

Zhang Shusen, secretary of Beijing Transportation Committee, stated at this opening, “As one highlight of national occupational skill competitions, national driver skill competition selects a batch of excellent drivers with high professional quality, solid theoretical knowledge and good driving skills through each successful hosting. A fervor of learning skills, competing skills and comparing contributions is brought up. Concept of security, energy conservation and green environmental protection gets popular among people. Thus, building of high-skilled talents in transportation industry is accelerated, by which energy conservation and emission reduction become serve as an example. Here I give my best wishes to all competitors for good performance and style with mature skills and pioneering spirit.”

50 driver talents from 26 different places would compete with each other for the honor of Champion of Security and Energy Conservation

Since started in Jul.5th, King Long King Wings Contest held 15 qualification trials in major provinces of passenger transportation, which selected a number of driver talents with high skills and quality. It played an important role in promoting security and energy conservation concept within industry.

During competition, King Wings system recorded security awareness of excellent drivers and driving skills of super low fuel consumption. Its precise evaluation of safe driving and energy saving score got praised by competitors and referees, which got a nickname of Technical Referee and Technical Coach of the competition. Meanwhile, King Wings tour is going on around China, getting popular among a wide range of passenger transportation companies. By now, more than 360 enterprises held 400 training courses where over 9,000 people took part in innovative technology of King Wings.
