First Batch of SAIC Tangshan New-energy Buses Delivered

At the delivery ceremony held in front of office building of SAIC Tangshan, Feng Feng, deputy GM of Tangshan Public Transit, said that Gasification of Tangshan was developing strategy of Tangshan city. Purchasing clean-energy buses would do good to improving air quality of the city. Apart from 500 ordered buses in 2013, 500 more natural gas buses would be purchased in 2014 and 2015, by which buses unqualified in off-gas emission would be eliminated.


In the assembly, our reporter was told that 60 clean-energy natural gas buses would be into operation, which meant that the real formation of automotive industry in Caofeidian had been come to its advent. So far, daily capacity of the company is 8 units. By Nov. 13th of 2013, about 200 buses have run out of the factory. It would be definitely no doubt that 500 buses would be manufactured and delivered. Compared with current diesel bus, natural gas bus is of energy conservation and environment protection, where passengers feel more comfortable.
