www.chinabuses.org: Qiu Lixin, deputy director of Department of Foreign Investment Administration, stated at the Energy Saving and New-energy Automotive Development Forum of 2nd China-Pacific Island Countries Forum that the department would support qualified enterprises of new-energy industry to take advantage of foreign investment in various ways, including overseas listing and introducing foreign venture investments.

What’s more, Ministry of Commerce would create much more ways of using foreign investment and push development of energy conservation and new-energy automobile. Meanwhile, enterprises would be encouraged to develop relevant advanced equipments, technology and key parts of new-energy automobile. Beneficial policy would be given to import of relevant products and equipments. Automotive enterprises, universities and scientific research institutes would be encouraged to develop international cooperation of researches in new-energy advanced technological field and proceed with global outsourcing. In addition, it calls for joint development and research and patent application. The department should create much more conditions to develop various opportunities for communication and cooperation. Furthermore, overseas advanced technologies and experience should be learned by domestic organizations.

Wu Zhixin, deputy director of China Automotive Technology & Research Center, addressed that the second demonstration policy of new-energy automobile would be released soon.
