Export Exemption from Inspection Paves Foton 2020 Strategy

A national Certificate of Export Exemption from Inspection enlisted Foton as National Export Product Quality Security Demonstration Enterprise. It is learned that automobile manufacturers with export exemption from inspection remain a few in the industry. Foton breaks through by being the one with the most products of exemption from inspection. From now on, part of Foton Auman and Aumark products can enjoy exemption from inspection with the certificate and qualification when exported to overseas market.


High affirmation of quality

What’s more, it is beneficial to improve management and quality, expand good reputation of Foton and products, and improve comprehensive competitiveness.


Since establishment, Foton never stops marching to international market. Establishing leading position in domestic commercial vehicle industry, Foton is now accumulating capability and resources marching to international market, developing overseas market, improving overseas operational capability and expanding development space.


Based on data, export volume of Foton in 2012 exceeded 40,000 units, ranked as the second one of the industry. Meanwhile, Foton established business departments in India and Russia and KD plants in over 20 countries around the world. In addition, with exporting products to more than 90 countries and regions, Foton established over 240 first-level marketing channels, over 980 second-level dealer spots and over 770 service stations. A relatively comprehensive distribution service system was completed.

 According to Foton 2020 Strategy, Foton would form 5+3+1 layout in the overseas market in the future. 5 means to establish overseas plants in Russia, India, Brazil, Mexico and Indonesia. 3 means to break through top 3 global high-end automotive market including North America, EU and Japan-Korea by manufacturing high-end vehicles and engines. 1 means to occupy leader position in domestic market. By 2020, Foton would become a comprehensive international automotive manufacturer combining fashion, technology, humanization and environmental protection together with annual capacity of 3 million units. Annual revenue would be 330 billion Yuan, which would help Foton become ranked as one of top ten global automotive enterprises and a leading automotive enterprise in the world class.
