30 October 2013

www.chinabuses.org: With excellent impression of Zhongtong Bus service in Ten Art Festival still fresh in out mind, Zhongtong Bus won the bidding of the foreign-aid project in Afghanistan recently, which helped itself become a supplier of bus product.

It is learned that Zhongtong Bus won the bidding of overall 17 buses which would be delivered to Afghanistan providing service for national advanced departments such as Office of President, Ministry of Mine and Ministry of Higher Education. This grand laurel again proved the approval of Zhongtong bus by people at home and abroad. For this bidding, Zhongtong Bus was in quick response doing various optimized design of the vehicle based on local climate and mountainous terrain in Afghanistan, especially different performances of chassis control system. Thus, the bus could more adapt to local road conditions, run in stable operation and provide smooth service. For now, these buses to be delivered in next month have already been in manufacturing preparations.

This time is not the first time for Zhongtong to participate in and win the bidding of foreign-aid projects. At present, apart from the project in Afghanistan, Zhongtong Bus has other foreign-aid projects in Tonga, Maldives, Kyrgyzstan, Djibouti and Malawi. Taking these foreign-aid projects is a kind of experience for Zhongtong Bus but more a strong conduct to show its position in international market and strengthening brand influence.

Since establishing overseas sales company in 2003 and international development strategy in 2005, Zhongtong Bus has kept its increasing overseas exporting business to a summit of international development in 2008. Based on stable development of its product in traditional markets such as Middle East, South America, South Asia and Africa, Zhongtong Bus started its step into high-end markets like Europe, the United States and Australia. Even though influenced by financial crisis, Zhongtong Bus enhanced its investment of overseas market development out of depressed and damaged overseas market as well as enhanced its building of network and after-sale service system instead of slowing down its speed. Hard work finally paid off by continuing breakthroughs of Zhongtong in overseas market along with recovering overseas market in 2010. Especially from 2012 to 2013, Zhongtong kept getting batch orders of Saudi Arabia and Morocco. Since international market of Zhongtong is developing stably and constantly, overseas sales have taken up a quarter of the whole sales performance.

Foreign-aid projects in Afghanistan, Maldives and Tonga again tested the influence of Zhongtong Bus in overseas market. Thus, Zhongtong Bus would continue optimizing product design and providing service with more mature and quality product in more countries and areas.
