SUNWIN to Establish New Energy Bus Base in Xiaoyi City

www.chinabuses.org: On September 16th, Shanxi Xiaoyi Government, Shanxi HX Power Science Technology Company and Shanghai Sunwin Bus Corporation signed the agreement in Taiyuan to jointly invest CNY 5 billion for new energy bus production base in Xiaoyi high-tech industrial park. The scale of production is said to reach 5000 units worthy of CNY 7 billion within five years.
The pioneer of green energy auto industry Shanghai Sunwin Bus Corporation, with annual productivity of 2500 city buses, intercity buses and 500 chassis, is engaged in the production of large long-distance coaches, diesel city buses, CNG city buses and pure-electric city buses. Besides, SUNWIN pure-electric city buses were appointed exclusively to serve inside Shanghai Expo Park in 2010.
In the meeting, a 12m pure-electric city bus worthy of CNY 16 million jointly produced by SUNWIN and HX Power debuted. The bus is equipped with German ZF low-floor front-and-rear axle and integral steering gear. Moreover, overhead variable frequency A/C and pedal and fixing device for the wheelchair reflect the humanization.
