329 King Long Buses Exported to South America

www.chinabuses.org: On Sept. 9, 328 King Long coaches are lining on Xiamen Xiandai Port ready to be delivered to South America, and this is another major bus order since King Long started to explore the markets since 2007. The delivery ceremony was held in Xiamen Xiandai Port on Sept. 9, 2013.
Sales revenues of King Long Bus ranked the first in China amid appreciating RMB and sluggish overseas needs. And 6019 King Long buses were sold from Jan to August, up 20%.
Xiamen city government secretary praised King Long Bus for the successful delivery of the orderm and he said that King Long Bus started to export buses to South America since 2007, and their buses are running in Peru and Cuba etc. countries. And the 329 buses are another major order for King Long Bus. Xiamen city is aslo paying attention to King Long overseas process.
61 of the 329 buses will serve La Paz city, capital city of Bolivia, and these are the first China buses delivered to Bolivia. City development can never be without city buses, and they can contribute a lot on facilitate citizens transport, improve city management and forge energy-saving and environmental protection. La Paz city pays much attention on the buses, and they are rather strict on selecting the buses, and King Long buses are chosen for their great brand influence and high quality of their products. And King Long became the first China bus builder to deliver buses in large quantity.
Xie Weiguo, overseas marketing director, introduced that Bolivia is a market with great potential and King Long Bus did many works to meet customers' needs and help them to solve quite a few problems.
Since King Long delivered 61 city buses to the capital, and local media started to focus on the China bus builder, and major local media Larazon, Eldiario, RTP, and PAT visited King Long Bus in early Sept.
The city bus system will be dominated by the city government. The altitude of La Paz City is over 3,000 meters high and the roads are rather narrow, and King Long buses can fit local road conditions with great quality and after sales services. Gustavo expressed his wishes to boost development of public transport in local area.
The development of cities cannot be without city buses, and if the government can dominate the system, it can largely imptove management of the city and facilitate the citizens. King Long Bus is well known brand in China and they are also pillar industry in Xiamen City. King Long overseas marketing director Xie Weiguo introduced that King Long started overseas marketing since 2000, and their buses have been running in 86 countries and regoins till now. And they have 50 authorized distributors and service stations around the world, and they are the China bus builder with the most export destinations and largest product range.
Mr. Xie said that they exported 240 city buses to Algeria in late July, and till now there are nearly 2000 King Long city buses running in the country. On July 29, they signed cooperation with NTC company from Saudi Arabia for another ten years, and they have cooperated friendly for ten years. And the signing means the two parts are confident about their future development.
In Peru markets, The capital city Lima has made city bus changement plan several years ago to replace old city buses to improve city buses operation efficiency. And the second phase will start in late June. King Long has exported over 600 city buses to Peru since 2008 and the sales revenues were over four million USD. Sales of King Long buses ranked the first in the 4th quarter last year and the first half year this year.
Mr. Xie said that they will make more efforts in future and optimize the channel management and prepare better for the future development.
The world crisis has resulted the global capital reduction and many overseas cannot have enough money to purchase buses. And King Long is seeking some financing resolutions. On August 13, King Long signed financing agreement with Peru distributer PEGACO Company, and this is the first for China bus builder to have medium and long term financing solutions for overseas customers.
Some bus builders are seeking low price strategy to promote sales, and King Long pays more attention on quality and provide better service for customers. King Long Bus will continue focusing on better quality products with latest technology, absorbing excellent distributors, and forge overseas marketing networks. They will strengthen active after sales service and build better service brand and meet customers needs.
