BYD K9 Electric Bus Test Running over in Poland

www.chinabuses.org: In early June, the BYD K9 model is currently one of the most versatile and most functional 5-seater cars in volume production around the world. The Chinese-built e6 can cover up to 300 km on a single charge.
The first Polish presentation was held by Automotive Europe Corporation, the official importer and BYD agent for Poland. More than 300 guests attended the official presentation at the AEC stand, mainly businessmen and scientists involved with e-motor industry. One of the most notable guests was Waldemar Pawlak, Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Economy.
In his address Waldemar Pawlak spoke about current prospects for further growth of electric-powered vehicles, he also outlined the concept of the so-called smart grid, a concept of smart power generation into which electric vehicles can integrated and utilized for generating and storing energy.
BYD is the world leader in manufacturing of ordinary and rechargeable batteries for a wide range of electronic devices. The company is also a supplier of comprehensive systems to produce and store electric energy from renewable sources.
Moreover, BYD is one of the leading vehicle manufacturers in China. The company offers vehicles with conventional power as well as hybrid and fully electric vehicles.
