www.chinabuses.org:Recently, purchasing center of municipal government started a public bid for electric-gasoline hybrid new-energy bus of fuel saving and environmental friendly for Binhai Public Transport. This bid includes 132 electric-gasoline hybrid bus and 74 hydraulic natural gas bus at the cost of 140 million Yuan, which are all new-energy green bus. Once into operation, these new buses will have a positive impact on enhancing the air quality of this city.

It is learned that these purchased buses by municipal government are of electric-gasoline hybrid mode, equipped with domestic mainstream mature hybrid compound systems. Its emission meets National IV standard and the emission of hydraulic natural gas bus meets National V standard. Both of these two kinds of new-energy buses stand for international advanced standard. Each purchased electric-gasoline hybrid bus will get promotional subsidy of 420,000 Yuan to replace part of diesel buses, which will improve air quality and the environment of passenger’s outing.

What’s more, municipal financial department arranged 200 million Yuan as a subsidy for abandonment of vehicles of high emission in advance owing to the new restrictions measures of unqualified vehicles. The subsidy varies from 5,000 Yuan to 18,000 Yuan out of different types. So far it has completed abandonment of 18,334 unqualified vehicles in advance.
