Qingdao Free Trade Port Ready for Importing Complete Vehicles

www.chinabuses.org: Qingdao Free Trade Port passed national check on May 31 this year and the Port formally started to run on July 8. And the first imported vehicles will enter the port end of July. According to plan, the Port will own the capacity of importing 30,000 vehicles this year, and the volumes will amount to 100,000 units till 2015.
The port has two vehicle parking lots and 800,000 square meters area for vehicles and 110,000 square meters test areas as well as customs inspection area, vehicle inspection line, information management system and video surveillance network system.
The customs will set special window for order review, inspection on site, tax and fee collection and auto import certificates. Green channel will be set for importing complete vehicles, and the company is allowed to show their vehicles on special areas.
The second phase project will start to build this year, and there will be dock working area, comprehensive automobile industrial park, car yard area, stereo garage, testing services and maintenance and repair services.
