01 July 2013
www.chinabuses.org: In 2010, Higer released the G-BOS that trigger the reform of telematics in China bus industry. Three years later, many enterprises launched the like products and what would Higer do?
On May 22nd, 2013, Higer unveiled G-BOS II in Beijing and the new product received the unanimous accolades from experts, media and customers.
On June 5th, the Ministry of Transport released the "Announcement", in which Higer G-BOS was the only system that conformed with the three regulations in bus industry.
Sharing the same seven functions of safe driving management, oil consuption management, GPS, remote breakdown warning management, 3G video surveillance management, maintenance management and matching management, G-BOS II is different from its predecessor in on-board terminal, system platform and business mode.
As we can see, G-BOS II works as a platform rather than a product, and it offers to customers the solutions instead of data.
Besides, Higer initiatively sets up the alliance by cooperating with local GPS operators. Currently, G-BOS service covers 27 provinces, accounting for 87%. Besides, Higer helps its customers to apply for energy-saving and emission-reduction subsidies. For example, Suqi Transport Group secured the subsidy of CNY 5.94 million in 2011.
Director of Higer Brand Management Department Wang Xinliang concluded four advantages of G-BOS II that convinced the reporters why it would help win the future.
