www.chinabuses.org: June 15-21, 2013 is China’s 23rd national energy saving week, and June 17 is the first “National Low Carbon Day”. In order to implement the theme of the event—“carrying on energy saving and low carbon to create a beautiful homeland”, Guangxi province holds “2013 Guangxi Energy Conservation Week and Low Carbon Day” at Nanjing International Convention and Exhibition Center on June 17-19, 2013. At the same time, Guangxi Energy-Conservation and Emission-Reduction Technology and Product Exhibition, Introduction Conference of New Energy-Conservation and Emission-Reduction Products and Technologies are held. Yuchai, bringing its four types of energy-conservation and emission-reduction products, namely YC6MKN, YC6LKN, YC6GN natural gas engine and YC6J hybrid power motor, attends the event.

On June 17, Mr. Lin Nianxiu, vice chairman and a member of the standing committee of the Communist party at Guangxi autonomous region, pays a visit to Yuchai booth and learns energy-conservation and emission-reduction technology and market promotion of Yuchai’s engine. Dr. Feng Jing, vice president from Yuchai Engineering Institute, gives report to Mr. Lin who later speaks highly of the results Yuchai has made and encourages Yuchai to make bigger progress in technical innovation and application of energy conservation and emission reduction so as to contribute to China’s environmental protection. Local government will give more support to Yuchai’s development, he says.

Natural gas engines and hybrid power engines are Yuchai’s two core energy-conservation and emission-reduction products. Yuhai has been leading ahead of others in terms of low-emission technology and following closely international advanced combustion technology; thus, it wins much attention and praise from international combustion industry. From Jan.-May, 2013, Yuchai sells more than 10,000 natural gas engines, up by 130% year-on-year. It takes more than 45% market share, ranking 1st in the industry. The promotion and application of Yuchai’s energy-conservation and emission-reduction products will boost the energy conservation and emission reduction of China’s urban public transportation. Currently, 2,500 Yuchai’s hybrid power engines have been applied, mainly in Guangzhou, Wuhan, Kunming, Guiyang and Gui Gang, etc.
