Commercial Vehicles Gets Recovery in May

www.chinabuses.org: According to statistics from CAAM, production and sales of commercial vehicles amounted to 360,800 units and 364,600 units, up 20.4% and 12.9% over last year, and sales of heavy duty cargo vans increased the most. Sales growth of commercial vehicles are higher than 10% for two consecutive months.
1.77 commercial vehicles and 1.76 units were produced and sold from Jan to May, up 7.1% and 4.5% over last year, and sales of buses increased by 13%, higher than that of cargo vans and semi-trailer tractors.
Bus chassis saw higher growth among major commercial vehicles over that of April, and sales of vans decreased the most. 40,500 buses and 41,800 units were produced and sold in May, up 18.82% and 26.46% over last year; and 8,400 bus chassis were produced and sold, up 22.43% and 16.73%.
