It is said that currently in Jiangning District of Nanjing, Route 19 have realized its operation of total electric buses, in which the first 20 electric buses reduce 516,300 L diesel, or 642.93 ton standard coal. Each electric bus reduces 50 ton carbon emission per year, which is almost of 0 emission, little noise and safe stability. All of these features make it popular among passengers.

It is learned that Jiangsu will purchase more than 3,000 fuel-efficient or clean-energy buses as well. In addition, over 1,700 vehicles with unqualified fuel consumption were not permitted to get into transport market, with reduction of 43,000 ton fuel and 139,000 carbon emission.
