Yutong LCC's Value to China Bus Industry

www.chinabuses.org: Yutong released LCC, Life Cycle Cost, in Beijing on June 4, 2013. And the LCC aims to change current bus industry concepts which pay too attention on the price of the bus but the costs of the whole life of the bus.
LCC of the bus include price, operation costs, maintenance and waste values, and the concepts fit current bus and coach operation in China. So we should pay more attention on the costs of maintenance and operation.
Yutong conducted quite a few trace research on LCC of bus, and they find out that the price of the bus takes about 10%, and the fuel costs and maintenance take about 70% if a bus can run for ten years. That means the costs generated on the operation period takes more shares. Although most bus operators notices the great costs of the operation and maintenence costs, they are still surprised to see the exact results.
LCC is really a great and clear direction for China bus industry, and they should choose the products which have more adaptiveness and rational configuration at first, and the company can provide enough technical support and service guarantee when operation.
With carrying out of LCC, more and more customers will stop just compare the price of the bus but the whole costs a bus's life. And bus company can understand more about customers' needs and produce market-oriented buses and their product can achieve upgrades accordingly. And customers can take more rational attitudes to choose the best buses and coaches.
