Volvo Starts to produce VEA Engine

www.chinabuses.org: Volvo starts to produce their new VEA series engines, and they will be equipped to the bus in the fall this year.
This is 4 cylinder diesel engine with revolutional DI system, i-ART to reduce fuel consumption and emisison of CO2. i-ART can receive fuel pressure feedbacks from each fuel injector, and a micro computer is used to analyze teh data and adjust fuel flow.
The 4 cylinder engine has more efficient performance than current 6 cylinder engine.
FlywheelKERS is used for the new engine and it can improve fuel efficiency up 25% and 80 more hp.
