www.chinabuses.org: In 2013 China Beijing International Exhibition on Buses, Trucks & Components, telematics technologies spotlighted the whole exhibition.

This exhibition saw five telematics technology platforms: Yutong TSM school bus intelligent management system, Higer G-BOS II, King Long "King Wings", Sunlong "All Can" and Beidou school bus safety service system.

From the names we can see that Higer, King Long and Sunlong launched the systems mainly for bus market, while Yutong and Beidou for school buses.

It's noticeable, from the introductions of these five technology platforms, that "compatibility and expansibility" is one of their main features.

Recent years, the rising of Internet of Things has promoted the development and application of many telematics platforms of bus manufacturers. It's said over 1800 transport companies install 40000 Higer G-BOS terminals, accounting for 65% in the market.

Facing the heavy weight, oil consumption and safety accidents, transport companies focus more on energy-efficiency, safety and management of the buses. Telematics will offer better operation solutions.
