Xiamen Xiang'an District Plans to Build Bus Line

www.chinabuses.org: On May 23rd 2013, it is learned from the Xiang’an People's Government that the related government is now investigating the transit special-line connected the inside and outside of the Xiamen island, which will be convenient for the resident.
By the end of 2013, Xiang’an will complete the buses lines to cover 98 percent of the areas and it also targets to realize each village has the bus service there.
Xiamen Municipal Government has stipulated Proposals for Preferential Development of Public Transportation System and proposed development of Bus Rapid Transit. Construction of Xiamen Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Network has been demonstrated and proved by Xiamen Municipal Bureau of City Planning. Xiamen urban planning strategy: “One Center, Two Rings; One Main District, Four Complementary Districts (Eight Parts)”
