1,000 Eelctric Buses to Run in Shenzhen

www.chinabuses.org: The first China City Bus Energy-saving Contest has been over on May 12 in Shenzhen, and 31 bus makers from 28 cities and 14 new energy bus builders joined the contest. And the cotest are mainly for pure electric city buses, plug-in hybrid city and hybrid city buses, and the buses will run for 86 km and to check their use of energy. And there will be 1,000 pure electric city buses to run in Shenzhen this year.
Some of the electric city buses will run in June and Shenzhen will have the most new energy buses in China.
The inventory of new energy city buses and pure electric taxi will amount to 7,000 units and 3,000 units, together with 30,000 private passenger cars.
