www.chinabuses.org: On April 16th -20th, Volvo Group held the 2012-2013 VISTA semi finals in Madrid, Spanish.

In Asian venue, 160 truck teams and 5 bus teams participate in the competition. Xi'an Silver Bus sends its elite team who, conquering the rivals in preliminary contest, intermediary contest and the final contest of maintenance technology, service process and spare parts management, gained the access to global semi-final in Madrid on April 17th.

April 18: Nine teams from China, Mexico, USA, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Algeria, Iran and Kuwait took part in the morning session, while seven teams from Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, competed in the afternoon.

For the teams in the Volvo Buses semi final, the competition is even more challenging due to the many truck-related questions and tasks. Yet they remain undeterred, and have just studied that much harder. “We prepared after work, and have spent a lot of hours practicing with busses and trucks,” say team Ace, a bus team from China.

After a tough APAC final, the last semi final for VISTA 2012-2013, six more teams have qualified for the world final, where they will compete alongside the best workshop personnel from all around the world. And the competition is down to just 32 teams who will travel to Gothenburg this June for the world final.
