Zhongtong Undertakes "Monocoque Body" Standard Drafting Session

www.chinabuses.org: In December 2011, MIIT issued the notice on improvement of large-and-medium-sized buses&trucks safety technology and strengthened management, saying "over 11m coaches and tourist buses must use monocoque bodies."
On April 25th, 2013, hosted by Standard Committee of CHTS Bus Branch, the second session of "Bus Monocoque Body Structure" standard drafting team was undertaken by Zhongtong in liaocheng City, Shandong Province. General Secretary Pei Zhihao, Vice General Secretary Diao Wei, Professor of Chang'an University Shen Fulin, Associate Professor Guo Jingang and technical experts from Yutong, King Long, Higer, Zhongtong and Ankai, etc. attended the seminar.
As one of the key drafters, Zhongtong introduced the BOVA technology from Netherlands and worked on the R&D of monocoque technology from 2000. Besides monocoque core technologies with proprietary intellectual property rights, Zhongtong obtains the national patent in "Bus Monocoque Body with Large Rectangular Tube Type Underframe Structure".
