www.chinabuses.org: On May 1st, CHERY held a ceremony to celebrate its first bus in Guiyang plant. Vice Secretary of Guiyang Party Committee and Mayor Li Zaiyong announced the completion of the first bus.

It's said CHERY Guiyang plant was put into production within one and a half years from its start on Sept. 29th, 2011. The first-phase project covering 517 Mu of the land with the investment of CNY 1.36 billion is capable of annual output of 30,000 buses.

CHERY R&D team has developed 15 series of products, including medium-and-high-end coaches, high-end commercial coaches and new-energy buses.

Deputy Mayor Liu Yuhai, Executive General Manager Zhang Ping gave their speeches and Head of the Public Security Bureau Min Jian, Deputy General Manager of CHERY Lu Jianhui and Lu Fujun attended the ceremony.
