Nanjing Liuhe School Bus Fleet Receives Subsidy for 20 Million Yuan

www.chinabuses.org: It is learned from Nanjing Audit Bureau that there are 148 school buses in Nanjing Liuhe District to serve 34 primary schools and they are running for 160 lines and daily distances are 10,150 km, an each day there are 5,600 students riding on their buses.
Nanjing Liuhe District has spent 28 million Yuan to purchase 100 long-nose school buses and the district government spent 75% and 21 million Yuan subsidies. The new school buses are 6.6 meter long and 2.4 meter wide, and 30 students can ride on the bus plus a driver and a teacher.
Nanjing Liuhe Passenger Transport Company set school bus team to supervise operation of the school buses. Each student pay 350 Yuan each semaster and the rest will be paid by the government.
